Another Geodude was sent out, the trainers final Pokemon. He had the Geodude use a Tackle on Kenji's Squirtle.

Geodude used Rock Slide yet again, and not even bothering to do damage calculation (lol 4th wall) the trainer knew they had won, taking 200 PD from Kenji, and causing both of his Pokemon to faint. "Nice try, come again when you're stronger!" the young boy, looking no older than 11 had said, tauntingly.

Alice ran back onto Route 3, training for her soon to occur battle against Brock's trainers. She spotted a pidgey and the battle was on.

Pidgey used Tackle, giving Gastly (15 - 12/3) 11 damage, leaving it with 12 Hit Points. Gastly in return rammed into the Pidgey, becoming solidified this time.

Pidgey attacked yet again with Tackle, leaving Gastly with a measly single hitpoint. With this, Gastly duplicated the attack from last time and finished off the Pidgey, gaining 22 experience. 9/50 Exp. -> 31/50 Exp. Alice headed back over to the Pokemon center, with this.

Kenji lost to an 11 year old in a pokemon battle. His heart was truly broken. He would grab on both of his pokemon, running to the pokemon center to heal them up. "Nidoran, I have to train you." he'd say with motivation, running into the route nearby until he saw a wild Kakuna. Squirtle would tackle it, as the Kakuna would tackle back, causing both of them damage.

Alice ran up to Kenji after watching his feat made easy unlike that herpdederp Shane who wasted tons of money on Pokeballs when he should've just weakened Kakuna more. "You, you, you have new Pokemon, battle me again?" she asked him, eager to get more experience, or at least figure out a better technique to battle. "Please?" she asked, interested in seeing how a rematch would go.

"A battle? Let's do this!" Kenji would say with a smirk, grabbing on his Kakunas pokeball. He would quickly run and heal it up, than go back to Alice, accepting the battle. He would throw out his Kakuna, ready to fight, interested on how it would go.

Gastly starts off this battle with a tackle, as usual. Not even needing to put effort into this one, Gastly knew this was in the bag.

27 - 15/3 = 22. Squirtle's HP = 0. Gastly's Exp = 4/55 Exp. -> 32/55. "Your move, Kenji." Alice said smirking, at an easy victory.

Kenji would send out Nidoran. "Kick its ass, Nidoran!" he'd say, hoping for a miracle.

Gastly finished it off with a nightshade, flying high up and swooping directly 90 degrees downwards and ramming right into it, having it get the effect of the nightshade a few seconds after. Without even having to calculate, it was clear that Alice had won yet again, and Gastly got even more EXP. 32/55 -> 47/55. "Nice battle Kenji, so uhm... How much PD is that that I win?" she asked with a smirk.

Kenji would hand over 200 PD to Alice, taking his pokemon to the pokemon center to heal. He only have 500PD left, and he was turning into a poor hoe. He decided to train on the nearby Pokemon. He found a Kakuna in the forest, and threw out his own to fight.
Kakuna would use whatever the attack was that would hit +2 on the other Kakuna, and the other Kakuna would tackle him. 14-12/3=10. 12-12/3=8

"Hit it again!" Kenji would say, getting the Kakuna down to 2 health as he would get his own down to 6. He would finish it off with a tackle and get experience.

Gabriel ran through the forest as quick as he could before tripping over something. Gabriel turned to see, it was a... green... thing? He pulled out and scanned it. "Metapod; the Bug type Pokemon" Gabriel looked at the thing. He sent out his Abra, allowing it to float in the air as Gabriel thought of his attack.

The Metapod retaliated at the appearance of Abra, slamming into Abra.
Gabriel pointed toward the Metapod, "Confusion!" he called out. The Abra's eyes began to glow and an aura of pink surrounded it. The Metapod was thrown back slightly by an invisible force, causing damage.

The Metapod attacked again, looking furious. Slamming into Abra and knocking it back to a tree. Gabriel glared at the green Metapod. "Tackle!" He shouted at his Abra, who had gotten out from the tree.

Metapod immediately tackled the Pidgey as it appeared, nearly fainting it.

Gabriel knew he had only one chance, if he could catch the Metapod, he could get through this fight. Gabriel pulled out an empty Pokeball and launched it toward the Metapod, it was a stretch, but he had to try it.

The Metapod escaped and attacked again, fainting Pidgey. Gabriel headed backwards toward the Pokemon Center, he wondered about his chances.

Kenji would heal his Kakuna up, fighting again, ready to gain more experience. He would find a wild Caterpie, and fight it. "Go, Kakuna!" he would say with a grin, throwing out his Kakuna to fight the Caterpie. "Use Bug Bite!" he would say, as it would do the attack, and Caterpie would tackle. 14-12/3=10 12-4=8

He would heal up his pokemon at the pokemon center, going back inside the gym, looking at the trainer who beat him. "I'm ready, and I'm stronger." he'd state, ready for their battle.

Jean and Geodude arrived in Viridian City a second time. They looked around, finding a gym. "Alright, lets take a break." Jean told Geodude, as he read the Gym Sign. "Hm, we can't do this gym yet, we have to beat the Pewter Gym one. Want to try it, Geodude?" Geodude nodded. "First, a break from all this training would be nice." Jean could tell Geodude agreed as it ran off and sat under a tree. Jean sat along side him, keeping his eyes on Route 2.

Gabriel walked out of the Pokemon center, having healed his Pokemon. Gabriel took in a breath, he had to train his Pokemon. Looking at the two routes, he wondered. After finally deciding he left in the direction of Route 2. Holding his Abra and Pidgey's respective Pokeballs in his hand, on his way he began deciding which one to train.

Kenji noticed that nobody was in the gym, so he decided to go out and train. He went out to find a pidgey in the nearby route, and he decided to go off and face it. The Pidgey would tackle his Squirtle, and it would use Water gun on the Pidgey.

Gabriel entered Route 2 and walked around for moments before spotting a wild Pokemon, he quickly took out his Pokedex and scanned it. "Nidoran; the Poison type Pokemon" it announced quickly. Gabriel sent out Abra as soon as the Pokedex finished speaking.

Jean found that he had fallen asleep. Getting up, he yawned and stretched- which woke up Geodude as well. The two both looked at the entrance to Route 2 and had a similar desire to go. "Alright Geodude, that's enough rest." Geodude nodded as he floated to Route 2, with Jean at his side.

Gabriel turned as he heard a rustling in the grass, a Nidoran popped out from under the grass. He sent out his Abra in response.

Gabriel then turned, facing the forest, he decided to try and continue on.

Jean ventured the relatively short Route as he saw a forest up ahead. When he was about to enter it- with Geodude behind him- a Nidoran(M) popped up as random battle music played in the distance. Saying some generic anime line, the Nidoran got really mad for no apparent reason and decided to fight Geodude for the sake of this roleplay having a plot.

The Nidoran(M) seemed to be greatly wounded. Yet, it had enough energy to return the tackle.

Alice decided this would be her last fight during training until she finally faught Brock. She headed to Route 3 and spotted a Pidgey- the battle was on.

27(+2)-15/3=24. Pidgey has 0 HP left. This move knocked Pidgey out in one hit, allowing Gastly to swipe up the Exp with no trouble at all. 47/55 Exp -> 69/55 -> 14/60.
