[Request] Time bombs?
I would actually like the idea of having certain time bombs, to work with the rp, but they would cost a lot, and is only obtainable to roles, or people who sneak their way into a base. I think that if you were to have it, when somebody would buy a time bomb, they would also be given a sheet of paper with it, that basically says (The bomb would be cool if you were able to cut the wires manually to defuse the bomb) which wire is the trick wire, to setting off the bomb, and which would be the one to stop the timer. Or maybe even one that uses a passcode generated to the owner, or by the owner.
I know it may seem like much, but think off all those times M had threatened the player with bombs, but really had no way to do any damage, as there wasn't a bomb to start with in the first place.

It's unfair for players to not be ready.They have a countdown for people using guns against others, or maybe a knife, (or at least this is what I read in the rules when I first logged in after 2 years) and have a minimum of ... how many seconds? Eight? Maybe have a long countdown before you set it, since something like that is incredibly random, and extremely powerful, given we don't have the roleplay scenario.

I could see this working, but if it were to be added, I'd take out grenades, because they serve one purpose at the moment. Annoyance.
Grenades can be thrown anywhere, roleplay wise, but whenever they explode they only take away 3/4 of someone's health I believe, meaning the surrounding characters usually ALL live and walk after being hit with one. -rantend-
Anyway, if time bombs were to be added, there would need to be valid ways to defuse them, but they'd also need to atleast critically wound or kill someone unlucky enough to get caught in the blast.

In a way, that's basically what I meant by the wire thing. You would be able to set it to a specific time (15 real life minutes minimum?), and the thing you got would actually label which wires to cut to stop the bomb, and which would blow up the bomb, and because the time bombs would have to be expensive, with grenades not as much....
And with the code bomb, you would be given a code, or would make your own for the bomb.
Also, by the radius of the blast, the closer you were to the bomb, the more pain you would get, I guess.
