{It would really just clutter up the forum if I put up all the short stories I've thought of in different threads. They aren't that important... by the way, the stories will not be just one post, they will usually be frrom 5-6 posts long, but, yes, the one post story will occasionally appear. Every story of mine has a theme, wether it be original or not.}
The Kairi Sacrifices

Kenji's Short, Yet Odd Adventure

Kenji is your average five foot five, one hundred ten pound, teenager. One weekend, Kenji was left home alone and it all started... Kenji awoke, wearing a black shirt and jeans, he had forgotten to change. He walked out of his head, rubbing his head]

Kenji then walked over to the kitchen. It was a small kitchen, the counter and fridge took up most of it. Kenji walked over to the refrigerator to get a can of soda. Before he opened it he heard a thud in his basement. He looked away and said "Huh...?" then turned back to the refrigerator. He opened it... to find that there.... was no soda. "NO, IMPOSSIBLE!!" he yelled, then turned his attention to the basement and walked down there to see if there was a soda can. Kenji obviously ignored the fact that something had made a thud in there. He opened the door and walked down the creaky wooden steps.

He looked around and saw that a book was on the floor, it looked like one of those old children's books. It was wide and thin, and the picture on the cover was a swirl. Kenji opened the book the book and turned to the first page. "It all began on that cold Autumn day...." was the first line of the book, Kenji examined the page, that was the only line on it. Kenji stared at it for moments, it was October the twelfth, a cold day. Kenji began to walk back up the steps, he dropped the book, letting it fall to the floor right infront of the first step.

A sudden wind blew through the basement, which was unusual for it had no windows. Kenji was suddenly pushed back by an unseen force while climbing up the steps, he fell back and expected to land on the book. He closed his eyes waiting for impact, nothing happened. He opened his eyes and found that he was in a wide grass plain. Kenji, confused looked around, all he could say was "Huh...? I go to the basement for soda and I get grass... oh, wow." he walked around, wondering what he was doing here.

Kenji walked for about two miles, Kenji, tired, had taken refuge under a tree. "Witch, witch, WITCH!" he heard someone cry. Kenji looked up "What?" an old man had appeared in front of him with other heavily armored men with "K" written on their armor. "What's going on?" asked Kenji. One of the men in armor looked at Kenji and spoke "You sir, are a witch, and I am Alezven, professional witch hunter. Now, you must die." Kenji's eyes widened, he got up and ran as fast as he could away from the men, he was tiring out quickly. He saw that on a stump was the soda can he had been looking for this whole time, his main goal. He stopped and picked up the purple soda can.

Kenji opened it and was about to drink, when he lifted the can to his lips, shining, deep, red liquid flowed from his lips, he looked down to see that he was stabbed in the back by Alezven, carrying a spear. Kenji began to bleed more, he couldn't believe, he was about to die. Kenji dropped the soda can. Alezven looked at Kenji and said "Another job well done, let's go report to boss.". Kenji was left to bleed to death, with his last amount of energry after he fell down to the ground, he picked up the soda can and put it to his lips, instead of soda, a piece of paper came out. Kenji, weak, tried read it with his blurred vision. The piece of paper clearly had this written on it:

The Game

And with that being the last thing Kenji saw, he died, losing the game...
After the weekend Kenji's parents came, only to find the book on the table. They opened it, it showed everything that happened to Kenji. "What a disturbing fairytale book." they said, putting it back down.

Omnis' Encounter With a Fairy

Omnis is a normal child, he's thirteen years old. He's about five foot two and always wears white shirts and jeans. Omnis has a strange name, obviously. Well, his parents tried to write the word Ominous on a piece of paper when he was born, they misspelled it and the doctor used it as Omnis' name. Unlike our fellow victim of the magicks of these stories, Omnis' story has nothing to do with a magic book, it has more to do with... faeries.

Omnis was walking around on the beach, bored for he could do nothing. Omnis had white hair and blue eyes. He walked along the shore, bored while other people were having fun. Omnis then heard something call to him]Omnis... go... embrace the ocean." Omnis, obeyed, and automatically, he walked toward the water, his white sneakers getting wetter with each step, he had walked far enough for the water to be up to his knees now. "Further...." called the voice "... until you're completely submerged." Omnis obeyed again.

He continued walking in through the water. Now the water was up to his neck, he continued, not thinking, only obeying, walking further and further into the water. He then felt something tug at his foot, he was then pulled down into the water, he was drowning, he couldn't breathe, he couldn't see, the water's salt made the water too thick to see through, after a minute, Omnis lay there, lifeless. Omnis then awoke in his bed, in his old wooden house. Omnis got up, rubbing his head, he looked around and walked out to his backyard, on the way he heard his mother's voice.

"I don't care if the previous owners left because they were depressed after their son disappeared. We have to see them. What do you mean you don't know where they moved to? How will we discuss the price then? Ugh, you're useless!" Omnis continued on by, his mother had conversations like this all the time. He opened the sliding glass door in his living room to see that his backyard was the same as always, grass all around, and sand, like a beach, a few meters away, there was sand and lake, his backyard let right into a lake.

Omnis heard the voice call to him again. This time he ran into the kitchen and took a large kitchen knife with him, knowing he could only obey. He walked down into the lake. He was pulled again, like the dream, but this time, he saw the person pulling him. It was a blue haired woman with blue eyes, that's all he could see, the face. She looked up at him. "Shhhh... I'm a fairy... just go peacefully." Omnis refused, he pulled out his knife and stabbed away at the fairy. Stabbed and stabbed until her screams stopped and her blood flowed all around him.

He walked out of the lake, wet. He went into the house looking for his mother, he went back to the backyard to make sure the fairy was dead. What Omnis expected was far from what he saw. He saw his mother, her red hair flowing with her blood covered white dress, down in the lake, where he had stabbed the girl. His eyes widened, he heard sirens, a neighbor had called the police. Police in black uniforms came to the backyard. "Freeze!" one of them screamed. Omnis yelled "No, wait, you got it all wrong!" The police were in a trance, they thought Omnis was speaking in tongue, waving the knife around. One of the police held up their guns and shot at Omnis, six times. Omnis fell back, dieing. He fell back right next to his mother in the water. Omnis' body sunk, down to the bottom of the lake, his eyes forever open, looking towards the sky.

Omnis was dead, seaweed and algae began to spin around him and cover his body. The police never found his body and he was just put down as missing. Thus concludes another tale of an unlucky person's demise...

Ganku's Lost Civilization

Just like Omnis and Kenji, Ganku Hazake is another person to get involved in the story. Ganku has a history of mental problems, along with being a bit delusional at times. Ganku has a black Afro, black eyes, always wears some common clothing like : Tan pants and a blue shirt. Anywho, the story begins with Ganku Hazake, an explorer who decided to go on a trip into the Mayan temples.

Ganku walked along the jungle path. He used his machete to cut any branches or leaves in his way. Right behind him was his assistant, a dog called "Bacon.". Ganku looked at Bacon, who was going slower and slower. "Hurry up, Bacon." Ganku then turned back to his path and continued on, Ganku cut through one branch and saw it. "Oh my god... The temple of the K... just like the Mayans left it." Ganku could only stare in awe at the magnificent pyramid.

The pyramid was covered in old vines, the spots left untouched formed a huge "K" in the middle. Ganku approached the pyramid slowly, there was only a long, rickety bridge to cross. Ganku slowly walked along the bridge, Bacon was right behind him, Ganku was in the middle of the rickety bridge when suddenly, it began to shake immensely. Ganku charged to the pyramid, along with Bacon.

They got across and were at the entrance of the pyramid, Ganku walked along further into the narrow entrance. Ganku turned to Bacon "Wait here." and with that, Ganku went deeper into the pyramid, so many tunnels and paths, all leading to the same places. Ganku then found a path lit by torches the entire way. He walked closer, getting colder, colder, and colder the entire way. Ganku found a room, one with a huge center, but narrow bridges at each entrance. Ganku found some ancient text on the wall.

"The death of ten will bring forth the Goddess, Kairi's resurrection." is what it read on the wall. Ganku examined it more and said "Strange things this tribe believed in...". Ganku looked towards the circle. Ten coffins surrounding a very large pool of water. Ganku decided to go, he looked for the path he went to get here, but when he got to it, it was covered by a wall of stone. "What? I'm sure I went through here!" he said.

Ganku sat down and said "One.. nothing wrong with me, two nothing's wrong with me, three nothing wrong with me." he sighed. "IT'S NOT WORKING!" he yelled as he ran to the circle and looked up, there was a chimney like passage nine feet over the pool. Ganku decided to pile up the coffins and use them to climb up the passage. He took the third coffin going down clockwise. It had nothing in it "Figures..." said Ganku. He then turned to see how many it would take to get up to the chimney passage, Ganku, busy thinking, did not notice the black liquid that the coffin was suddenly filled with. The black liquid seeped out and touched his shoe.

Ganku looked down, then back at the coffin. "What the fu-" Ganku was pulled in by the liquid like black vines coming out at him, before he could finish his sentence. Sigh... another demise in a story, how unexpected, humans are so predictable...

~If everyone cared and nobody cried, if everyone loved and nobody lied, if everyone shared and swallowed their pride... We'd see the day when nobody died...~

Eiji and Art's Terrible Tale of Greed

Eiji and Art Suzaku were twins. Eiji had short black hair and black eyes, same as Art, except Art had long black hair, not short. Art wore jeans and a black jacket, Eiji always wore a white T-Shirt and black pants. One day, while looking for something, Eiji and Art discovered something, something that would change their lives. "Come on, Art, look at this!" Eiji yelled. Art came up and looked at Eiji, "Huh..? What's that?". Eiji held it up"I don't know.." Eiji examined the artifact, it was a necklace with some kind of amulet on it. The amulet was emerald green with a snake marking on it.

Eiji could only examine it, he didn't know anything about it. Art took the necklace from Eiji's hand. Art examined it as well. Art then suddenly awoke in her house, the necklace around her neck. "Stupid dream." Art got up and cleansed her face with water. She then proceeded to change into a black jacket and jeans, with black sneakers. Not noticing that the necklace was around her neck, Art continued throughout the day just walking around, watching television, being bored, staring at the wall for a half-hour.

Eiji walked in the door. "Hey... Art." he walked over to the kitchen and dissapeared from Art's view. "He popped out for a moment. "Where'd you get that necklace?" Art looked at the necklace, just now noticing she had it. "That necklace looks valuable..." Art turned to walk back up the stairs to go to her room. Shiny red liquid was coming out from under her door. Art gasped, her eyes widened. She was too shaken to open the door. She tried to turn the knob without slipping her hand. Art then finally opened it and saw that Eiji was on the floor, shiny, ruby red liquid flowing from his neck. Art turned to look at the person she thought was Eiji.

The man stood in the doorway, shadowy, his face obscured from view by the shadows of the doorway. Art, still shaken, asked "Who.... are... you..?" The figure held out a knife and tossed it, it fell right infront of Art, with a loud clinking sound. The figure walked into view and Art gasped again "You... don't exist!" yelled Art. She walked back slowly stepping over the blood and stopped right before almost stepping on Eiji's leg.

The figure spoke "Of course I don't exist. You killed Eiji out of greed, he had the necklace, you wanted it, well, at least that's what your suicide note says." Art looked down to find that a suicide note in cursive handwriting had been written on the floor. The same handwriting as Art's... "Who says I'm going to kill myself?" "Well, you killed Eiji, felt guilty and then killed yourself, stabbing yourself in the stomach and bleeding to death. All over a stupid amulet, which reminds me, I need to take the amulet back now, so die." The figure approached Art and picked up the knife.

It stabbed Art in the stomach, twisting the knife. Art yelled in pain, blood flowed like a small waterfall from the edge of the knife to the floor. Art fell down, laying right next to Eiji, the suicide note on her bloody lap. The last things she saw were the figure coming up to her and tearing the amulet away from her neck. With her last breath, Art asked, "....why?" The figure turned to Art and spoke once more "Because.... you were too happy... and happiness, is a thing you shouldn't have too much of.." he disappeared after walking through the doorway, the bloody knife in Art's right hand, with that last sight of the knife, she lost too much of her blood and her heart stopped, both twins lay there, dead, the only witness, gone, disappeared through the doorway.

~'Cause I've drawn regret, from the truth, of a thousand lies. So let mercy come and wash away what I've done...~

The Horrible Secret of Pensuke

acted like a normal kid, he seemed like a normal kid to Chet Vasvey, but all of this was to change on that very night. Pensuke had short brown hair and black eyes, he wore a black shirt and tan pants. Chet had blond hair and green eyes, he wore a white T-Shirt and jeans the night he died. Pensuke had invited Chet over on a Saturday because he was bored. Chet agreed.

Pensuke got up from his seat and walked around his old wooden house, he walked to the backyard for some fresh air and he looked out at the lake infront of his house. Pensuke heard a knock at his door, he turned back and walked up to the door. He grabbed hold of the knob and turned it. It was Chet "Hello." Pen looked at Chet and said "Hey Chet.". Chet walked into the house and sat down. Pensuke walked over to Chet, but, in the middle of his walking he heard something "I know what you did..." the voice sounded female. Pensuke decided to shrug it off.

Chet stood up, examining the house, he was obviously bored. "How about we head to the backyard and... throw rocks at people?" Pensuke headed toward the backyard "Umm.. well... that sounds weird." said Chet as he followed Pensuke. This time they both heard the voice, telling them. "Pensuke... I know what you did..." Pensuke and Chet suddenly stopped in their tracks. Pensuke looked up and thought that the sound was coming from his room upstairs.

Pensuke ran towards his room, he ran up the stairs as fast as he could, to see what was going on. Pensuke burst into his room to see who was speaking. The door behind him suddenly closed shut and locked itself, Pensuke ran to the door and tried to open but neither the lock nor the knob would work. Chet, still alone downstairs, heard another voice call to him "Pensuke isn't what he says he is..." Chet looked around strangely. He began to walk up the stairs slowly, cautiously,

Pensuke started tackling himself against the door to open it. Chet got to the door of Pensuke's room. Chet looked to his right, he was hearing banging sounds coming from the mirror to his right. He looked into it and swore he could see Pensuke... Chet then opened the door to find Pensuke standing there. "Chet, did I ever tell you..... how I killed someone?" Chet's heart beat raised faster "Killed someone...?". Chet turned back to see dead bodies all over the floor, dead bodies, all of the same person. A woman with long black hair and blue eyes, wearing a long white dress, Pensuke walked closer. "It was so easy, just a few jabs of the blade... and they were down."

The lock and knob in the Real Pensuke's room had turned and opened, but all he could see was himself, walking to Chet. Pensuke banged on the door, "Chet, run!" Pensuke pounded his fist on the door. Chet, confused at what to do, charged at Pensuke with all his strength, he plowed into the fake Pensuke and they crashed through the mirror, landing in the room where the real Pensuke was. The fake Pensuke arose and brought out a large hunting knife.

He charged and jabbed at Pensuke, Pensuke yelled in pain and fell to the floor. Blood.... a common thing in these stories, flowed from his chest... covering the floor. "Well... now, you'll never know, Chet..." The fake Pensuke ran up to Chet and jabbed, he missed. Chet had ran down the stairs, not caring to step over the bodies. He ran out to the backyard and dived into the lake without thinking, he swam to the bottom and waited thirty seconds. He began to swim back up when suddenly, seaweed tied around his leg and wouldn't let him swim upwards. It kept him down, it pulled him. Chet lost all his air quickly, and drowned... two drops of blood escaped his body, but were washed away.

"O Looking-Glass creatures," quoth Alice, "draw near! 'Tis an honour to see me, a favour to hear: 'Tis a privilege high to have dinner and tea Along with the Red Queen, the White Queen, and Me!"
~ Alice in Wonderland : Through the looking glass

Kairi : Part 1

Ah... we are nearing the end of our chronicle, this is a tale of two people. Chib and Lelouch, their names be strange, but so are these stories. Chib and Lelouch were sitting on a bench looking out onto a large clear blue lake, lush forest covered all edges of the lake, their leaves shining in the sunlight after being rained upon the night before.

Chib had red long hair and green eyes, she also wore a black jacket, jeans and black sneakers. Lelouch had short black hair, black eyes and wore a white T-Shirt and tan pants with white sneakers. Chib thought she saw a figure, at the other edge of the lake, it was too far to be sure, but she thought she saw a figure with a black cloak torn, flowing in the wind. Chib turned to Lelouch "Did you see that?" Lelouch looked at her strangely "See what?" "Nevermind..." said Chib.

It was dusk, Chib's favourite time of the day. Lelouch looked out onto the water and thought he saw a figure in the distance, a dark figure, almost completely invisible. Chib turned to Lelouch and saw him stare, she looked and saw it as well. "I knew I wasn't crazy!" Chib stood up. Lelouch stood up as well and they began to walk to their houses through the woods, it was getting darker and darker, a perfectly safe environment, right?

Chib and Lelouch continued through the woods, then, Lelouch thought he saw a figure in the distance. Chib then heard a voice in her mind "You're the two last ones... the time is almost upon us..." Chib shook her head to clear her mind. She turned to Lelouch to ask him a question but Lelouch was nowhere to be found. Chib examined the entire area "Lelouch, where are you!?". Lelouch was following the figure through out the woods, Lelouch continued to follow, only thing he could do was follow it.

The figure had dark red eyes, a black cloak, it was torn up badly. He seemed to float over the ground, not walk. Chib, still looking for Lelouch, walked along the woods, it was getting colder and colder to her, she continued to walk, then, she stumbled on the bridge, the bridge was made of stone, it was over the middle of the lake, so people could pass from one side to another easily.

Chib continued to slowly walk along the bridge "Lelouch? Lelouch!?" she called, no response was heard. Lelouch was still following the figure. Then he came to a stop when he reached the edge of a steep cliff. The figure hovered in the air, Lelouch looked down, to see that the drop would kill him. He looked back up at the figure but it was gone, Lelouch knew he had to run, he turned only to find that the strange figure was behind him. It grabbed him by the neck and held him over the edge of the cliff. Lelouch could barely breathe "...W-w-why?" was all Lelouch could cough out.

The figure laughed a dark, cold laugh and stretched out his right arm. He opened his hand up to reveal that he had claws. "Because, you're a sacrifice, nothing more..." With that the figure jabbed his right arm into Lelouch's stomach, Lelouch yelled out a loud yell. Chib, heard a faint yell come from the north, she ran as fast as she could she thought in her mind "Lelouch, please be okay." she continued running. Lelouch began to bleed from the stomach, one drop of his blood fell all the way down to the bottom of the steep cliff-side.

Chib, still running, praying for Lelouch's safety. She got to the cliff-side and saw the figure, holding Lelouch by the neck, Lelouch was bleeding from the mouth. Chib's eyes widened "No...no...no!" she shook her head rapidly and ran back towards the bridge. The figure released Lelouch and he landed on the edge of the cliff, almost falling off. Chib ran again, this time for her life. Her hair flowed in the air as she ran, her eyes filled with tears. She finally got to the bridge only to find that the figure was there.

She turned back and gasped, the figured shoved his claws into her stomach. The figure looked down at her "Useless.. little... sacrifice." and it pulled out the claws and walked away, leaving Chib to bleed to death.

"Fill up the cups with treacle and ink, or anything else that is wonderful to drink."
~Alice in Wonderland

Kairi: Part 2

Alice and Gabriel, two good friends. Alice had long blond hair and blue eyes, she wore a gray tank top with a black jacket over it and jeans together with blue sneakers. Gabriel had messy brown hair and green eyes. Gabriel wore a blue T-Shirt over a black long sleeved shirt, together with long jeans and white sneakers. Alice was sleeping in her bed, her room had blue walls and a wooden floor. Alice tossed and turned in her sleep. Alice then found herself atop a building, she saw a girl about her height, with pure white hair, wearing a very long dress, it was long sleeved, the dress was large enough to cover the entire building.

The woman had a black, strange pole in her hand, it was covered in black vines. A white orb was on the top of the pole. Alice heard a voice scream "NO, DON'T! NO!" she turned, but, she awoke before she could see who was screaming. Alice was awaken by a phone call. "Ugh.. it's Saturday..." she turned to the clock on her wall. "I'm going to kill Gabe for waking me up this early." Alice picked up the phone and pushed the "ignore" button. She walked into her bathroom and got dressed in her usual clothes. Alice came back out and heard a knocking on her door. "Hey, you awake yet, Alice?"

Alice walked down and opened the door. She took one look at Gabe and said "... why must you wake me up at the strangest times?"Gabe shrugged, "Um..... please don't kill me?" Alice shook her head "Gabe... why would I kill you? Second, where the hell would I get the tool to ki- know what, don't answer that question." Alice and Gabe quietly walked out of the house, closing and locking the door. "So... what are we gonna do today?" asked Alice.

A man wearing a black hoodie, covering his face appeared in front of Alice and Gabe. His red hair hung out from the sides of the hood. The man closely examined Alice "Kairi's resurrection is almost complete..." he smiled and walked right on past Alice and Gabe. Gabriel looked back. "Now, that wasn't strange at all, was it?" Alice nodded and they continued on walking, they passed by the mall and walked in, just examining several stores. Alice started to see the red haired man everywhere. "Oh lord...I'm going crazy, Gabe." Gabe looked back "That's what they all say. True insanity is in the mind." Gabe pointed towards the night sky. "Ah... how fast time passes." They both continued to walk out the mall and to the streets, heading home.

Kairi: Part 3

Gabriel looked ahead and wondered "What's he doing here? He really was following us!" Gabe grabbed Alice's arm and whispered, looking towards an alleyway they could escape through "It's the red haired guy," Gabriel looked back then turned to Alice "... he's been following us, follow me!" Gabe ran to the close alleyway he had found.

Alice followed Gabriel and the two ran down the dark alley. They got to the other side of the alleyway and ran right. Alice asked Gabe "He still following us?" Gabriel kept running and said "Well, I don't think looking back would be a good idea, just run." Gabriel then looked up to see that the red haired man was right in front of them. The man quickly pulled out something in the shape of a baseball bat and swung at Gabriel. Gabe fell back, out cold, then the man did the same to Alice, knocking her unconscious.

Alice awoke several hours later, she was in a queen sized bed in a room where white, silk sheets covered the walls. She got out of the bed and rubbed her head, she turned and saw a mirror. Alice gasped, she was wearing a very, very long white dress, it was so long, Alice could walk out of the room into another room and continue walking outside while the end of the dress would still be touching the bed. Alice looked at the wooden door, north of the bed. A few minutes after Alice waking up, Gabriel woke up in a different room, one with black walls and a wooden door, Gabriel awoke on the floor, he got up and rubbed his head. Gabe then heard a voice from behind "You're awake, yay, I'm not alone." Gabriel turned to find the man we know as Ganku Hazake.

Ganku was trapped onto the wall by a strange black gooey liquid. Gabriel stood there confused and could only ask "Who.... are you?" Ganku looked at him, then to the floor, then to the wall, then to the door, then to his shoe, then back to Gabe. "I'm... Ganku." Gabe nodded and said "I'm Gabriel. What... are we doing here, does it have to do with the red haired guy?" Ganku nodded "Zheel, that's his name, he's a descendant of an ancient Indian tribe that believed in a goddess called "Kairi" who ruled over a world almost exactly like ours, a looking glass world."

Gabe looked strangely toward Ganku "What does that have to do with me and Alice?" Ganku shrugged. Zheel walked into the room and grinned. Zheel spoke some language that Gabriel had never heard before, it didn't sound like any existing language. The goo suddenly released Ganku and he fell to the floor. Zheel motioned for Gabriel and Ganku to follow him. They followed him obediently. At that time Alice had opened the door and walked down a long narrow hallway. Images of a huge hole in the sky appeared in her mind, the image of that girl on the skyscraper again, the dark clouds, the lightning, continued to flash in her head. Alice groaned and held her head while she continued walking.

Alice ended up in another large room, she saw coffins surrounding a large pool of clear, blue water. Gabriel, still following Zheel down a narrow hall, thought about something important."Kairi... I remember now... I once heard a story about that... a goddess, reigning over a looking glass world. If that story is true, then the old magick must be real as well." Gabe, Ganku, and Zheel got to the room where Alice stood, Zheel grinned again and said "We're all here, this will be much easier." Alice turned to Zheel, "What are you doing with us!?" Zheel laughed and pointed at Alice "You, the reincarnation of Kairi..." he then pointed to Gabriel and Ganku "You two, the witnesses..." he then pointed to himself "Me.. the bloodline descendant, all here, ready for the resurrection of Kairi." Gabe and Ganku looked up, wide eyed.

Zheel pulled out a dagger, one with strange greenish-blue markings on it. He turned to Alice and said "Go, into the water, now. Stand in the center and accept that you are Kairi." Alice gulped, and walked into the center of the pool. She calmed her mind and closed her eyes. Gabriel, Alice, Zheel, and Ganku soon found themselves atop a building, where they were standing on Alice's dress, which covered the entire roof of the building. Alice opened her eyes, her dream was coming true. Alice then stopped in her tracks, her pupils filled with a blood red colour, instead of her normal eye colour. Her hair started to gray, slowly and slowly. Her dress quickly became all black. Her haired grew longer and became pure white, black stripes surrounded Alice's eyes.

Gabriel's eyes could not believe what he was seeing. Gabriel shook his head "That's not Alice... no, it isn't, it's a monster." Gabriel ran up to Alice but Zheel grabbed Gabriel's arm first and held him, so he could not go near her. Gabriel yelled "Let go, you idiot!" Zheel was stronger than Gabriel, so he could not break free. Alice couldn't control her actions, a long pole covered in black vines appeared in her hand, the white orb on the end. A black crown formed on her head, it was covered in rubies and black vines as well.

Alice held her hand up and the clouds in the night sky swirled and a huge hole formed in the shape of a square in the sky, lightning struck the area around the building. Gabriel saw that the hole showed a mirror image of the building, but everyone in the reflection looked like demonic, evil creatures. Alice kept her hand held up and Gabe yelled out, for he knew what Alice was doing, "NO, DON'T, NO!!" Alice could not control her actions, though, only watch as this strange thing happened.

Alice spoke, her voice demonic and deep "To the looking glass world it was Alice that said..." Alice raised the pole "I've a scepter in hand, a crown on my head..." the mirror in the sky shook "Come looking glass creatures, whatever they be, come dine with the red queen, the white queen and.." Alice yelled out with all her strength, overcoming Kairi's will, "No, stop, Gabe, help, do something!" Gabe shook with anger and stomped on Zheel's foot then elbowed him, making Zheel drop the dagger.

Gabriel ran, he picked up the dagger and charged at Alice. He then automatically jabbed the dagger in her direction and spoke "I'm so sorry, it was the only way, Alice..." The tip of the knife dropped a few drops of blood, falling to the floor, they splashed. Zheel screamed "No, you bastard!" Zheel then charged at Gabriel and Gabriel pulled out the knife and turned, Zheel crashed into the knife. Gabriel pulled out the knife then looked at his hand, and he slowly cut his skin and let the blood go onto the knife.

Gabriel looked up at the mirror world and said "Looking glass world before me, with the essence, the blood, the power of three, I obliterate thee." and threw the dagger with all his strength up at the mirror. Ganku, standing there, witnessing it all, said nothing. The dagger crashed into the mirror, the mirror cracked a bit, then suddenly broke completely, falling down on the building. In mid-air, the shards suddenly disintegrated. Alice looked up at Gabe "I'm going to hell, aren't I?" Gabe shook his head. "Not if I can help it. There's a spell, it will give us twenty seconds, in those twenty seconds, if someone dies in your place, you will be saved, their fate is unknown." Alice shook her head furiously "No, you can't, I won't let yo-" she groaned in pain, her hair returned to it's gold colour, her eyes became blue, her dress became white.

Gabriel said the spell quietly "To save one who deserves salvation, I will endure damnation." Gabriel stood up and smiled, "Goodbye, Alice." Gabriel then too the knife, thrusting it into his own heart, he walked to the edge of the roof and fell off into a dark abyss. A tear dropped from Alice's eye as she prepared to die. Ganku stood there, witnessing all this. Zheel died, Gabriel disappeared into the abyss. Alice died with a smile, the mirror world was gone, obliterated... all of the sacrificed souls rested in peace, Ganku moved to a small town in a in Alaska called Nome, he later disappeared mysteriously during a mass disappearance, apparently caused by extra-terrestrials.

Plague of Blood

As the boy with the spiky black hair wearing a black set of long pants and a long sleeved shirt lay in his bed, turning, tossing, he groaned as he was awoken by a sound coming from the top of his roof.Creak... the sound came again. The boy got up, rubbing his head as he walked around a pitch black room. The boy groped around the wall for a light switch. He found the light switch and flicked it, the room was engulfed by a bright light. The bed was not very big, small, and the boy himself looked only five foot four, about a hundred twenty-two pounds as well.

The boy turned to a yellow digital alarm clock atop a wooden shelf. The time clearly shown on it 7:26 am. The boy continued to a door, to the north side of the room. He gingerly put his hand on the knob and opened the door. Nothing, nothing but just a normal bathroom with a toilet on the left, shower on the right and sink in the middle. The boy stepped over to a mirror and stared in it for a few seconds. He rubbed his eye and said "Kenji Saioji... waking up the middle of the night, best way to start a day, right?" he stepped out of the bathroom to another door, he opened it and walked inside, then picked up an old brown book bag.

Kenji walked over to the exit door of his room when he realized "Wait a minute... I'm... in my sleeping clothes." he walked back into the closet and came out of the closet three minutes later wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, jeans and black sneakers. Wannabe Emo look, much? He continued out the door to a huge living room with a black leather sofa near the door. He walked out the door and continued out, it was a very foggy day, all Kenji could say was "Oh..mah.. god... it's a WALKING CLOUD." Kenji was then thumped on the head.

"Walking Cloud? What the bloody hell are you talking about?" said a female voice. Kenji responded with "Well, Alice, the clouds are supposed to be in the sky, but I clearly see one walking along the road." Alice shook her head, she had blond long hair and brown eyes, she was wearing a blue long sleeved shirt and jeans, her footwear invisible due to the fact that the floor was covered in fog.Woosh, Kenji and Alice turned to see that the fog had shifted, showing that someone had ran through it. Another voice through the fog was heard "Hey, Alice, Kenji, you guys there?" Kenji looked around "Gabe, that you?"

A boy as tall as Kenji came into view. He had dark brown hair going to his shoulder and black eyes. He wore a brown long-sleeved shirt and red pants. Kenji examined him "Gabe... you have weird clothes..." Alice nodded "Can we get to school already, before we're late?" Gabe turned and said "Umm... I think school's this way." Kenji pushed him and pointed the other way, "This way!" Alice stood there as the two continued to push each other and point in different directions. Alice shook her head and thought "The IQ in this area is slowly dropping..." Alice walked over to Gabe and Kenji and grabbed them both by the collar as she began to drag them both off into the fog saying "You morons, if you keep fighting, we'll never get to school. Let me lead."

As Alice dragged the other two into the fog someone had been watching them from a close building. Two people, both had extremely pale skin. One of them was a girl, with dark gold eyes and red long hair, she wore a blue jacket, jeans and some white sneakers, she also had a laptop in hand. The other was male, he was about five foot one and had dark blue hair, he wore a long-sleeved black shirt and gray pants, along with green sneakers. The male turned around and picked up some binoculars. The girl then shook her head and quietly spoke "These... simpletons... are our targets... seriously?" the male laughed and took the laptop from her hands, he opened it, still laughing like an idiot. Then he stopped laughing to be able to say a few words "Not just them, quite a few others actually.

A robotic voice came from the screen and a hologram 3D model of several people appeared. The voice spoke in an eerie kind of voice, even though it was just a synthetic robot voice.

The laptop suddenly started emitting static. The male began to pound on the laptop with his fist. The girl laughed at him "Kotaro, you really don't get along with technology." The male looked back at her, closing the laptop. "Well... you don't get along with dead people, Ema." The female named Ema shook her head and said "Well... you lose track of targets to easily, which reminds me, where did they go?" Ema stood up and put the binoculars and laptop in a black shoulder bag. She and Kotaro both walked to the edge of the building then jumped into the fog and disappeared.

(The rest of the story has been moved to it's own thread, because I intend to make it much larger, and much more detailed.)

The Burger... that told the future

Omnis was a strange kid with white hair and blue eyes, he wore a blue shirt and jeans. One day, while eating at King Burger, Omnis thought that the burger spoke to him. "Omnis.... the world will end in three days." is what he thought it had said, so Omnis ran from building to building, banging on door to door, screaming about the world ending. No one believed him. Several people even punched him in the face. So all Omnis did was sit in the emo corner of his attic in his little old house. Omnis clung to the burger, it was 11:59 PM, the day before the world was supposed to end. Omnis closed his eyes as it became midnight, he then mysteriously woke up in a wasteland, thinking the world had ended. "I KNEW IT, THEY THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY, I WAS RIGHT!" He yelled for hours without stopping. The Hamburger then spoke to him "Not really, you were just transported to another dimension." Omnis paused and stood there for a moment. He then heard a voice from behind "I found the screaming lady, oh wait, it's a man." said a strange green blob. The blob looked at Omnis "I'm Kenji, the generic talking blob." Omnis screamed in a high pitched voice. The blob then suddenly engulfed Omnis and cough out a rib-bone. "Yum..." said Kenji as he walked away on to blob feet. Remember kids, don't listen to talking hamburgers!

Kenji Saioji; Demon Hunter

The house was quiet, the windows closed, yet a breeze wooshed through the house, a quiet mumble could be heard. The man, Kenji Saioji, stood there in the middle of the empty house, he wore a long, black shining coat. He had dark brown, short hair, his emerald green eyes showed no emotion. He had jeans on, along with a black shirt under the coat. Kenji reached into his back pocket and pulled out something resembling a gun, with strange markings on it. He walked throughout the empty home and he heard a gurgling sound come from the bathroom. Kenji walked towards it, he found that the bathtub was filled with a blackish goo-ey water. Kenji slowly reached down into the substance and felt around in it. Nothing...

He turned to leave when the door in another room shut, Kenji walked forward not noticing that the substance was somehow overflowing. Everything went extremely slow as Kenji held out the gun and out of the substance bursted a white wolf-ish being... it was white all over with strange markings, it had two tails which resembled blue flames. Kenji shot, it hit the wolf, but it only made it flinch. Kenji jumped back as he reached into a hidden coat-pocket. Kenji then pulled off the part of the gun that the bullet is shot out of, he pulled out one that looked the same, only difference was that the bullet hole was shaped like a cross, Kenji stuffed some strange shape bullets into the gun.

Kenji flicked the gun while the wolf slowly approached him. The gun made a click to show that it was working. Kenji waited until the last possible moment. The breeze came again, stronger, the wolf pounced and Kenji pulled the trigger out of the hole of the gun shot a cross shaped golden bullet. It went right through the wolf, during the first two seconds, it didn't seem to hurt it, but, then in the wolf's chest formed a cross shaped mark, and the wolf began to burn it caught on blue fire and suddenly just turned into ashes, Kenji sighed as he stood up and walked out of the house while smiling at an old woman, "I preformed... a special excorcism, your house is clean now. G'day." The woman nodded "Thank you, Demon hunter, Kenji Saioji."

Gabe's short stories Empty Re: Gabe's short stories

Post by Gabe Thu May 20, 2010 10:53 pm

Do you believe?
“Evelynn, are you alright?” Were the first words I heard as I got home from school that day. My father had asked it, and my mother lay in the bed, she looked so strange, almost lifeless. Her long hair, once a deep red had now become more oak-brown over the years and her eyes were a tired, blue colour now, I approached her and saw our differences for the first time. My mother was thinner than I was, and I was pretty ‘average’ weight for girls my age, and my hair was now the same deep red that hers had been once before. My mother was sick, most likely needed bed-rest. It didn’t seem serious, or so I thought. I ran my fingers over her arm and felt the cold of her body. I was worried, but she told me I should try and have fun, I mean, it was the first week of summer vacation.
My name, as I probably forgot to mention, is Jasmine. I’m fourteen and leaving going on to high school, which was really something big to me. I was so scared about the world, and now I’m going to enter high school, only four more years, if I exclude college, and I’ll be in the real world. I was always the antisocial, when in reality I wasn’t so antisocial, I was just afraid, afraid I’d be rejected for being who I am, who I want to be. I should’ve been more worried about my mother, but I knew, somewhere deep inside that my family won’t easily be brought down.
I went in to my room and brought out my small notebook, I had gotten it years earlier, but rarely actually wrote in it. It was supposed to be for my songs I wrote, but always when I played them, they were critiqued as horrible racket, mostly from my parents. One day I got tired of it all, and took my guitar, went up to my mother, and told her “Fine.” As I smashed the guitar onto the floor with tears in my eyes, it was a stupid belief that I could actually write and play music; I don’t know why I cried over the truth. I stopped writing songs in the notebook, and threw it down under my bed, and I never saw it again, well, until I brought it out that day. I don’t exactly know why I brought it out, it was just a feeling. I flipped through the pages and saw one of my songs that I completed, the ‘racket’ my parents complained about. It had no name; the name that was there was completely scribbled over with a pen, along with most of the notes. I still remembered the notes, but the lyrics and notes were a blank in my mind.
I closed the notebook immediately after seeing the song. Too many memories that I didn’t want clouding my mind at the moment were going to come. I quickly tried to change the subject I was thinking about by putting on some of my favorite music, but that only made it worse, and the TV was in the living room, a whole floor under my room. I was too tired to go down there; it wouldn’t mean anything to put on mindless drivel. I finally ended up deciding to take a nap. I turned off the lights and closed the blinds as I rested my head onto the pillow I loved so much. In mere moments I was asleep, and then I was awake as quickly as I was asleep, but it was now the morning. I didn’t realize how much time I was asleep. I walked over wearily into my mother’s room, and saw her asleep, but she was still pale, and it felt bad looking at her like that, she was wasting away and I couldn’t do anything about it.
I walked gingerly into the bathroom so I didn’t wake her up and stepped into the shower. It felt great in the shower, the hot water seemed to just make you relaxed and take away your worries. When I stepped out, there was a breeze from the window, as though it hated the relaxed feeling and wanted it to disappear. Putting on some new summer-fitting clothes I walked outside. It was pretty early; the stray cats around the block weren’t even awake yet. Almost no life on the block at all, it was weird. Then, something happened that would change my life. I saw an elderly woman, she looked about a little over sixty, and she had already all white hair, it was short and went down to her collarbone and shaped around her head in what would probably be something like Dora the explorer’s hair. She carried a small suitcase, but there were many out front, and she walked slowly into the Sour House.
The Sour House, as it was called by the neighborhood children, was a house that everyone left after a year or so in. No one knew why they left, they just did. The woman almost instantly reappeared to get the bags, and I was already at the front fence of the house. I looked at her and asked “Do you need help ma’am?” She took a quick look at me, she had a few wrinkles, but she was still pretty for an old woman. She smiled and said “Why thank you and well look at this, I didn’t know you young kids like to get up early.” I walked up to her and smiled back. “Well, there’s not much else to do here, I’ll tell you that.” I said as I picked up a suitcase of hers, it was light; it probably was full of old paperback novels. I took it inside and left it in front of the stairs, but when I turned to look back, the woman had already taken the last bag in.
“Would you like a small bit of water or lemonade? Pardon me for sounding like the stereotypical grandma, but that’s all I’ve had the time to unpack.” I chuckled a bit, this woman was nice. “Sure, and may I ask what’s your name? I’m Jasmine.” She put the cup of cold lemonade down on the table as she went to get some water for herself. “My old friends called me Eve,” She sat down and drank her water slowly. “Old friends, were they nice friends?” I asked her quickly, “Yes, they were one of the greatest friends I’ve ever had. Sadly they all passed away, and I came here, looking for some place of other nice people like them.” I felt bad for the woman, all her friends were gone. “I’m sorry.” Ever smiled back at me and said “Don’t be sorry, it wasn’t your fault, and besides… I’m already meeting nice people here, like you.” Eve wasn’t so bad, she was really nice, she wasn’t a stingy, bitter old woman like I’d expected.
I walked out of the room suddenly to pick up one of Eve’s suitcases; I came back and asked where she would like me to put it. At that moment the suitcase just came open, it just opened by itself and everything in it fell over the floor. There were books, strange, leather-bound books, I didn’t bother to look at the titles, they were Eve’s and I respected her privacy. “Silly me, I must’ve forgotten to lock it properly, could you help with these, dear?” I was hesitant to reach for them, there was something strange in them...
