Your Perfect Death Note Ending

The ending of Death Note has been highly debated by both the "It was fitting" camp and the "It was not fitting" camp.


Please post here on what you think the perfect ending to this amazing series would have been....

Just when Matsuda was about to shoot Light... L should have bursted in with Mello and Matt and forced everyone to do the conga.

I have two. One: Light NOT laughing like a retard 3 seconds BEFORE Near was going to "die". Maybe then he could've had a chance at actually winning.

Two: Just as Light begins laughing, Near pulls out a colt 45, and busts a cap in Light's brains. I have to say, that laugh was epic, but jesus it got annoying <_<


Near shooting Light instead of Matsuda would be fun. Light winning, eh...

I'dve rather have Light using his brain, and talk his way out of it. Then, when he escapes, he feels a sudden knot in his chest. Then, an image of a never before seen Shinigami appears, and then fades away, with a white background and a large L on the background. That way, it'dve been a ''neutral'' ending.
