There was the "Death Knit." In "A Tale of Two Cities," Madam Defarge knits into a scarf the names in symbols of those who will later die. Pretty freaky, but in a funny way, eh?

That's a rather odd representation of the Incarnations of Fate o.o Usually, the Fates spin the webs of Fate, cutting and trimming the lines, creating new ones as it's necessary xD (Least, in mythology)
