Death Note Roleplay

Im trying to orginize this by myself, the rp will consit of 30 to 20 people (30 will much be appriciated) where this rp will consist of good roleplayers to portray a character based on thier actions and styles, you are to be given a role, you dont neccisarily have to stay completlty true to the rp (L doesnt HAVE to die, and there doesnt HAVE to be a 2nd shinigami/kira at the start) but essentially keep it on the same track as the series/manga intended it to be similar (Light, or the first Kira has to have the same psychotic messed up personality, L still has to be sitting in a weird way and eating an insane amount of sugar, tea, and sweets) Rather than me picking the roles and what I personally think I will set up a poll and let the people decide who should be who, this way things will be fair and I won't get a straight up blame.

Things I need now:
I need a host willing to host a server that can hold 30 people (max) and wont lag out
I need a specfic date on which this will happenn, not too soon as to be rushed, but not too late, I was thinking mabye july 8th so 4th of july could get out of the way.
I need you guys to choose who from rounds and role plays who should be who, I will be doing a post soon of important roles, including Light Yagami, L, Misa, etc

Important Roles (Yes you will be having the same alias as the person you are portraying):
Light Yagami(Light doesnt have to die but N will catch him in the end of it all)
L (Or L Lawliet, L can die but it wont be from a shinigami)
Misa Amane(Starts out just a famouse person until she gets the death note from Rem, Misa also has to get the shinigami's eyes twice, but misa's lifespan was exteneded from Gealouse, so yea)
Ray Penbar, several other random fbi Agents(to better advance the rp may die)
Naomi Misora(It is optional weather or not this character dies)
Near(Nate Rivers, N)
Mello(Eventually will die some time after capturing takada)
Mikami Teru( Must be as smart as Light Yagami,Mikami has shinigami's eyes from the beginign of his introduction, not the rp, so when eventually Light gives Mikami the notebook,Mikami also gets the shinigami's eyes, Mikami, DO NOT kill anyone Light tells you not to kil)
Kiyomi Takada(will die after killing Mello)
Ryuk
Rem(Doesnt have to die, and will NOT kill for misa's sake)
Matsuda(Doesnt have to shoot Light, but that would be freaking awsome)
Mogi
Aizawa
Soichiro
Matt(Will die)
Sayu (She is only important when the mafia kidnaps her, no other signifigant role)
(I forget his name but he is on the kira investigation task force and then dies when gonig to sakura TV when second kira is introduced)
HIguchi, and some other big production members(Higuchi becomes the new kira when Light gives the death note up)
Mafia Meembers (Names do not have to be anything important)
L Lind Tailor (A fake L that Kira kills in an attempt to kill him)
Gealous(Kills the person attempting to kill Misa, Geaolouse does die, and Misa get's his notebook)

Some roles are important to others, and some roles amy have to die, if you do die and it is part of the roleplay, please either watch the rp, leave and dont come back( I would really hate to see that logging in stuff happeneing unless there was a d/c), or just stay in heveean and dont do anything,OR you can come back as either an FBI (if the roleplay is in that phase) a criminal, or a mafia member, please notifiy if you would like to come back as one of these so no random logging in is in session also I am not polling, it would be too long, just say who you think should be who and I will put it up in a post. (after I get the time, date , and the host down) If you are given a role just prepare with the other rps,or somthing, practice your role, what your gonna do.

Hopefully shinigami's eyes will be allowed and if all goes well then they wont have to die from life span over (Only soichiro will die from lifespan loss, soichiro was pretty old, Misa and Mikami shouldnt be noobs cause although they have the shinigami's eyes they will have to stay in the rp the whole time, so shinigami dont kill off Misa and Mikami from life span loss, they arnt that old)

I'm sure Mitsu could host the server, but I don't know when o_o
And we KNOW there will be n00bs and crap like that, so the L and Kira roles shouldn't be held in a poll.

I think that the GMs need to do the really big roles like L, Kira, M, and N

IM an enforcer , does that count? And im only letting people's decisions count based on their roleplay skills, none of these will be done in polls, so dont worry

Alright then, I think Zarkus should be N or M and that Lelouch should be Kira. The other biggy ones should at least be picked out by A GM/Enforcer if not played by them

I think the one called W should get a role! But that is your decision.

Seems weird, only Gm's get big roles?


Most people developed there Role-playing skills by experience.
If only a GM/ Enforcer gets a major role most people would stop playing Death note online.


It's the host's responsibility not to pick someone who would act stupid while taking upon a big role.

Im not even a gm, Im a rule enforcer, basically if someoen is disobeying the rules I can boot/mute them, I can also teleport and summon too, but thats it, I have been playnig this game basically since the time it came out, even in open testing, I am also a decent roleplayer, I'm not the best, but I have been told to be one of the better ones, and it istn that Zarkus is going to get a role cause he is a gm, but cause he has good roleplay skills

I have nothing against the Gm's / Enforcers just so we are clear. xD

Eh, also good to know your a Gm, K doesn't have a lot of them, ever since the game has been introduced to byond. =l

Hey, I can do that today Im hosting on a good computer but dont spam save and use "bitch" cause the filters can crash me... But I was holding 22 people two days ago.

So, have you found a host yet? if so, when is this going to happen?

Actually, Death Note: Online original version was out sometime in November, you came in the 2nd update, as did most of these people. The original players, as I recall, are/were KatonX and LordMatt1. Just clarifying.

I think I will be able to host this later on today people please choose who you would want as these roles so I could set this RP up fast and get it going.

I didn't say you were a bad rper, just not as good as finding L/Kira as Lelouch or W. Neither am I so don't feel bad

I didnt put you on the list because I forgot about you I didnt even know you would be on during the big RP.
