The following rules take place this 8th of April, 2009. Any of these rules broken before this date will not cause any punishment administered to the people involved.

Edit; We're not very strict with the rules anymore, moderators, if you're.. well, being a mod, word count etc. doesn't count, and if you're off by just a bit we don't care, as long as it's not stupid and not contributing at all.

1. Spam of any kind or any form is not allowed.

2. Keep any content posted on the forum PG-13.
This means no porn, inappropriate content, or anything of the sort. "Swear words" are fine, used in moderation however.

3. Treat others how you want to be treated, respect for all.
If you don't like someone, that's fine, but you're not allowed to try to attack them publicly. All personal issues should preferably be solved over a messenger, or if not the Personal Messaging system. This also means you aren't to treat anybody with disrespect, especially without good reason.

4. Listen to the word of a moderator.
If your post was deleted, don't rewrite it unless given permission. Same with a locked topic. If a moderator says for you to stop doing something, please listen. Basically, a moderators word is law.

5. Don't question the action of a moderator, including bans.
Bans are to be kept between the banned member and the staff member who banned them. If a member was banned, that's that. Unless it was publically announced, you shouldn't inquire about a ban. Trying to get friends to rally your ban will only get said friends banned as well.

6. Multiple accounts are not allowed.
You are allowed one account per person. If you wish to make a new account for some reason, please tell a moderator or admin, and they will delete your original account, then you can have a new one made. If we find out you have more than one account for any reason, they will both be deleted.

7. Advertising other forums or games is not permitted.
Whether it be in a post, in your signature, or anywhere, it's not allowed. If we find you advertise, or send PMs to members about joining your forum or playing your game and it was unsolicitated, you will be banned without question. However, subtleadvertising is also not allowed. Ie; telling people about this cool new Naruto game you're playing counts as advertising. If you want to tell somebody about a game, use MSN. This is not the place to advertise!

8. Report, don't minimod.
The report button is there for a reason. Instead of posting what the person did wrong, use the report button so the moderators can deal with it. Posting in the thread and calling the person out, or even PMing them about it, is referred to as "MiniModding" and is generally looked down upon.

Leave the moderating to the mods. If you use the report system well, and show you help out, maybe one day you'll become one.

9. Do not abuse the report system in any way.
There are many ways you can abuse the report system, and each will occur in a consequence fitting. If you send multiple reports for the same post, it's abuse. If you keep sending reports for the same reason, it's also abuse. Ex. Somebody spams in a thread. Only submit one report saying they spammed the whole thread, do not submit one for each post.

Consequences____

Consequences will be administered in the form of infractions. Consequences with a range will vary depending on how severe the offense.

Inappropriate Content
Consequence: 5-20 Infraction points

Disorderly Conduct
Consequence: 1-10 Infraction points

Spam
Consequence: 1-3 Infraction points

Multiple Accounts
Consequence: 20 Infraction points

Advertisement
Consequence: 10 Infraction points

Report System Abuse
Consequence: 3-10 Infraction points and report system access stripped

These rules may be edited at any time, and each time there is an edit it will be posted to the editing log.
