Hosting Question

Just a general question on hosting. I've been wondering about the current situation, the times that DNO are up, e.t.c.

I've noticed as earlier this year the game used to be up every day, now it's not hosted as frequently.

How does it work right now, does K host it in her free time, what happened to the previous player servers? I recently learnt how to port forward, and if there's trouble hosting the game right now, I'd be happy to apply as would other players. I also understand that the game is going through frequent updates at the moment, so that could be the reason, but nevertheless I'd love to be able to play more frequently.

Whoever host's in right now definitely only hosts in their free time, or they host the server whenever they can. Previous player servers were taken out because of how much I and others cried about noob host servers (unless DNO gave out host files at another point in time and if I was the only one). You're right - this game used to be up 24/7 basically. I'm surprised it still has its position in the anime guild, though, so it's certain that DNO isn't dead. It's just having hosting problems, like you said. As for you being able to host, I wouldn't doubt if anybody were in the same position are you are right now. It's a matter of trust, and I don't think DNO has it around like the flu at the moment.

I'm sure they're handling this at their own pace.
