Kassk's Server
So I'm going to post some infos if something happens related to my server.
Such as now.
My father tried out a new router and it's already pissing me off, cause it seems to like reconnecting to the internet from time to time. I'm taking the server down for now and hope I can fix that tomorrow.
Edit: Server is back up now. Maybe the firmware upgrade helped, but I can't say if it's really fixed now, we just need to test.

Re: Kassk's Server
Uhm I can try to explain, but I don't know how your modem works so I'll explain what I did.
1.Open Ports: Connect to your modem/router (dunno if its even possible to connect to a modem) with it's IP. For example: 192.168.100.1 . Just write it in your browser. But as I said, idk how your modem works, so you may have another IP for it.
Then you should come to a menu where you can configure your modem/router. You have to look for something like "Ports" or maybe "Firewall" or something like that. Just click through the menus. You should find something where you can open ports. Uhm hard to explain so I just took a picture of my router menu:
Then just open Dream Deamon, type in the port. Security: Safe and Visibillity: Public. Select the DNO host file and click on the "Go" button. If you want to connect to your server click on the yellow button thats above that.
Hope that helped a bit.

To open or close ports
You must be logged on to this computer as an administrator to complete this procedure.
Open Windows Firewall.
On the Exceptions tab, choose one of the following options:
To open a port for a program or service, select the check box for the program or service.
To close a port for a program or service, clear the check box for the program or service.
Notes
To open Windows Firewall, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Windows Firewall.
Preconfigured programs and services on the Exceptions tab cannot be deleted.
Advanced users can open ports on a per-connection basis using Network Connection Settings on the Advanced tab.

Uhm... I would just deactivate the windows firewall. It doesn't really help you. If you need one, you should look for some freeware firewalls. But I don't know how the windows firewall works and how you can open ports with that.

Re: Kassk's Server
I just wanted to say, that I'm on some kind of vacation this week. So... I won't be able to host till friday. I also won't host in the middle of the week the following weeks/months, cause I'm starting to work today. Or at least I won't be able to host until 3 am in the morning (for me).
