What are bottlecaps?

Bottlecaps are a little addition to the forums made for the 2010 update. They are, quite simply, a bottle cap you display on your profile. You buy them with the yen you have on the forums. Yen is determined by how many posts you make (1 yen per post), how many topics you make (2 per topic), how many posts on your profile you get (2 per post), and how many days you are on the forum (1 per day).

How do I get bottlecaps?

Some are given out from special events, and others you can buy here. Trade in your yen for a bottlecap. Once you buy a bottlecap, it's shown on your profile. If you want to switch bottlecaps, you'll have to PM me. There's a 50 yen fee if you want to switch a bottlecap back to a previously bought one.

What do bottlecaps do?

They are displayed on your profile and some have extra benefits to them!
