[Tyrone the Tax-monster]

A thread for poetry of all kinds. I'm new to the forums and I figured this would be a good way to introduce myself [in a sense].

In a way
It's a wonderfull day
The Sun lets down a ray
And the Ocean Splashes away
for today is a wonderfull day

Sometimes it can't be avoided
even though you might decline
the invitation to step outside—
sometimes you are outside

maybe in the repose of your garden
among rose petal and fern, but the whole
unvarnished spectacle of do
before you're done unto unfolding
as spider devours beetle, beetle, aphid,
and the cat red in the tooth and claw.

No need to bring up bombs bursting
in synch or the rockets' red glare
or every laser fescue pointing out
all that's erasable, good-bye good-bye.

This is a free verse poem.

Moonlit Kiss

The moon sends us it's warm and romantic light. As she the one I hold close to my heart looks into the light and says, "One of the most beautiful sights I could see." I look into her eyes and say, "Yes.. The most beautiful light glowing ever-so-softly." Then she face towards me. That's when she knew I wasn't talking about the shining moonlight, but instead of her bright glowing eyes. Her eyes glowed like that of a warm-fire place. As she smiled a place in my heart felt as if it lightly burned with a feeling that can't be forgotten. Right then is where I knew I wanted to spend this unforgettable and warm night with her. I brush her hair and with my other hand gently tilt her chin up, so that I can rest my lips onto her gentle lips. Her eyes close as she realizes that this very moment made her heart sink. One second was as long as that kissed lasted, yet it felt as if years were taken away. I softly speak, "Lay here with me.." She nods as my hands go around her body and we lay on the comfortable grass looking into each other's eyes. As the stars and the moon watch over us.
