Rant time. I've met wayyyy too many posers in my life... like... 5. Which is 5 too many. The people who pretend to be what they're not, and switch what they're obsessed with every week. Get over it... you're not an emo, you're not a singer, you're not a prep, you're not whateveeeer! >.< Weird people. Hate them.

Anyway, favorite bands are SOAD, Evanescence, Paramore, Flyleaf, Billy Talentt, TDG, etc.

Hmph, I prefer Rush, Snow Patrol, Ai Otsuka and lately I've been getting into Nightmare.

I prefer Evanescence, Nickelback, Flyleaf, Greenday, and Reba(Country Western Singer.)
Though, I don't listen to Nickelback or Flyleaf that much anymore, they're more like "That reminded me -Insert song here.- I should so listen to it now." bands.

Video game music? Really Pen? Icky.
Well, no. SOME games had pretty good soundtracks. Like Kingdom Hearts. But I'd never put it above the others.
Also, DNO should listen to my choice of music more. IIRC I was the one who introduced DNO to Flyleaf. Which is why I command you all to now listen to... Billy Talent and Three Days Grace! It must be done!

Pfft, I listened to Flyleaf and Billy Talent before you brought 'em up.
And some games' soundtracks are quite awesome, to be fair. Particularly, prepare for nerdyness, ones like Halo. Orchestral and whatnot, I mean.

Have you listened to Earthbound, Earthbound 2, Final Fantasy, Secret of Mana etc's music? Really good Soundtrack that I think is overlooked.

I know way too many kids who like rap, and honestly, its REALLY annoying. All they do is rap in class and I feel like strangling a cat...

I just listened to three different Billy Talent songs. I was right in listening to K, time to look for more songs!

I agree, I just hate it when random people start Rapping in class, especially my brother, he thinks the best comeback after someone tells him to stop is "Stay out of my business." .... what "business" could an eleven year old possibly have...? Some people are just... wow.

Well, some soundtracks are good, yeah, but I prefer music with lyrics.

BUT RAP SUCKS. THAT IS ALL. I hate when people say otherwise. Rap is just speaking as fast as you can while spitting into a microphone with a beat. That is NOT music, so suck it up people.

K.... one type of rap that will scar you for life... is Brazillian Rap.
It... made me lose all previous respect for Rap, not that I had much, actually.

I dunno, rap isn't neccesarily bad by default. It used to be a lot better than it is now (not that that was particularly great), it's more that the rappers themselves fail at life.
I don't know how the rest of you feel about them, but... Linkin Park has rap in their music, and hell, Hands Held High is actually really good. Also, Eminem, I don't like -all- of his music, but I can at least respect it.
EDIT
Having said that, all variants on rap that I can think of -are- fail by default; RnB, Grime, 'Gangsta' Rap, etc...
