Alright. A lot of people have been very confused with this, and I need to explain it to you guys.. Damion spread the rumour that he quit DNO. To some people he said he quit, to others he said I banned him because I felt like it and didn't like him. So many have been asking me, is this true? I'll just say, no. I wish I had logs, but here's what really happened.. first, I hate to be rude to Damion or anyone by posting this, but it must be said.

Now, as some of you may have known, Damion left for a while, and became very inactive. So, randomly he paged me, and demanded to be an admin. Yes, a few months back, when he was active, I said "If you continue doing your job well, I may make you an admin." Please note the words "If you continue doing your job well", and the word "may". He then left for a while, and I'd not seen him after that. So, I suppose he asssumed that he'd still get admin after going away for a while. I told him since he was inactive he wouldn't be promoted.

He apparently didn't like that, and said that I promised to promote him-- which I never did. So, here began the hostility. He said that I was lying, and that I was making stuff up. He then began to insult my staff, saying that people like Kai (ZombieGenesis) and Cuddles (NationCog) didn't deserve admin, but he did-- he even said to Kai in private, and I quote "Wait, I don't deserve admin, but you do?" You can ask Kai yourself.

Damion went on and on, insulting me, the admin, and throwing a gigantic fit that he wasn't made admin. Now, this was NOT the first time he's argued with me... Arguing, yes, is normal, but his arguments aren't quite sensible. It includes insulting me, many otehrs, and praising himself... no real argument, just being rude. Oh, and plenty of sarcasm. Almost every time I told him "Damion, you're pushing me... One day I'm not going to be able to take it." It being the way he insults me and everbyody so often. So, I told him that I couldn't take it anymore, and he didn't have to play if he didn't want to. He continued to harass me, so I banned him.

Now, this is where he got mad. He spread to everybody that, as I said before, that I banned him because I didn't like him. This got many people mad and against me. Now, you can ask many people, and they KNOW what I'm saying is true. Ask Kai, Bem, and plenty others. Now, I hope you understand, contrary to popular belief, I DON'T ban people (especially long time players) without a good reason. I hope now that you all understand what happened, and uh.. yeah. The end.

TL;DR version: Damion wasn't banned for no reason. He threw a hissy when he didn't get admin, and told everybody I banned him for no reason or that he quit, which made some people mad. He lied. People can back me up on that.

I'm Bem, and I support this message. I also encourage everyone to read the long version, as it's really quite interesting, and gives a lot more foundation than the TL;DR version.

It also makes for a good sequel to that story to note that Damion also spread rumours that in support of his "resignation" (an involuntary resignation, but whatever makes him happy) many others have also quit. Yet, when asked in regards to this, all so far have called him a liar and been online in the same day.

What do we learn from all this? That Damion is full of bull, and anyone who leaves to support him probably deserves to join the DNO reject pile that is DNU...oh wait, nobody important did quit. Tough luck old bean.

I know he lied and all, but people that leave I think it's pretty sad. I'll miss whoever.. I don't know I guess im weird. The day I leave I will definitely remember you guys. =)

Eh, that's good to know Eiji. Damion also said to me these exact words "So, it seems you are the last Staff who cares for the game. Well, you and Gabe." But I know for sure that every Admin DOES care for the game. I think Damion's trying to "use" me for some sort of revenge, but I don't really get what he's saying.

I think it's sad, but sad in the sense that they left because of something that they didn't even know was a lie.

I have 2 dogs and a cat.

The dogs's names are Fred and Ginger (two british yellow labs, they are also half-siblings), while the cats name is Marmalade... She ish orange, only a year old, and she likes to sleep on my bed and the linen closet :3
