Orphan is about a family who goes to adopt a child, her name is Esther. She seems like the perfect child at first, but she has a habit of being where trouble happens... or, rather, causing it. It's been compared to "Bad Seed" and "The Good Son", it's in the rare but distinct children horror category... should be very good. And it's not on DVD... came out in theaters on the 24th.

Best clasic survival horror movies are: Aliens, The Thing, Alien, Predator (only because it has apollo creed)and the original halloween aint bad either. Yet Aliens beats them all, hence why its first in my list.

On a positive note, you hit Chiberoon. I never cared about it, Nbali's better. And it has SDI (anti ICBM) defences anyways.

Anywho, I agree with Ganku on this one. I havn't seen The Thing or Halloween yet, but Predator was epic, and all of the Alien films kick ass. Yes, even 3 and Ressurection.
However, 28 Days Later and Romero's original Dawn of the Dead win it. Zombies win it in general, really.
On another positive note, Left 4 Dead 2 comes out soon! Fangirl Squee!

not a huge fan of 28 days later, it was alright, But both dawn of the deads kick ass, but i like the remake better, running zombies kick ass. on a side note GET TO THE CHOPPER
