You know its funny when things come back to bite you on the ass... Honestly The community continues to rot and if I were dead I'd be rolling in my grave.
All I can say is that I saw this happening ...we all did. All of this was for seen by people who took looks at the community and saw how it was degrading and, here it is, a prophesy slowly coming to fruition. I just hope it isn't to late to turn the clock backwards from midnight.( Watchmen Reference) Tell me ... can anyone stop this great tragedy from happening? What are your thoughts?

Waiting is what screwed us up this much. All the older players that could've helped with it left. Now all we have are the new staff members which are actually doing a pretty good job at being staff, but it doesn't really seem to be helping that much.
The game just seemed to be lacking any fun before I was banned.

W I agree waiting is sometimes the answer to a problem but other times It can only gravely increase the problems. Honestly when you wait and see all your doing is waiting for the problem to solve its self or for someone else to solve it. Sometime you have to take matters into your own hands. I clearly lack the patience and peace of mind to truly help fix this issue. While I do see a few players trying to help others but its truly not enough to help curb this issue.

Well then, seeing how much of the problems that have recently occured are much like tumours, (or any other pestilence what so ever) then this is most likely the time in which it is beyond cureable. Although, there may be a cure, I don't know. We can only depend on the newest generation of DNO players to come and see what ideas arise from them.

If we can not depend on the newest generation of DNO to help prevent any end what so ever to the community, then I guess you are correct, Nate, that the end is quite near.

The difference is that more players do those "things", which is why the punishment is lighter.

Example 1: If 1% of the player base RKed, then it would be practical to ban someone on sight for RKing.
Example 2: If 50% of the player base RKed, then it would not be practical to ban someone on sight for RKing.

The players aren't getting away with actual rule breaking. They're getting away with making stricter RP standards and expecting people to abide by them. Its what Soundemin did and its what some of the players are doing now. Not giving names. I tried my hardest to stop this and got accused of godmodding >_> (I was doin it wrong)
This is a MEDIUM-LIGHT RP game. Not heavy.

But of course this is a medium to light rp game and you may think that players have put strict standards on rp. (I admit to advocating this myself at times.) Its not just that. On retrospect I believe the rules are not as clear cut as they ought be ( An update to the rule set Ingame would be fabulous K to avoid confusion) plenty of the new generation ignore rules that ARE clear cut and in the game or server rules.

Also Ra rking is against the rules whether it's 5% or 50% it's still not acceptable period.
My only point is that if those 50% enjoy rking they don't need to be here and unless they can change we don't want them here.

Who said it was medium light RP game, you? It's not a set thing.
Also, Zarkus. Get a fucking life, and get off the game / forums-- you're one of the reasons the community is shitty, Mr. Innocent.

Anyway, the community got worse lately (hm.. a few weeks ago?), as certain people came back, ironically-- it was fine for a good amount of time, then by coincidence Eiji, Nate, W, and Soundemin came back, and.. boom.

I don't know what you are implying by that. I want nothing but for what is the best for the community. K please tell me your definition of fine because a few days after I returned I noticed not everything is fine and dandy there seems to be quite a few issues that are continuing to be ignored and have yet to see a resolution. You can continue to bask in your undeniable ignorance all you like and yes you can continue to be cruel to the people who respected you but the bottom line is... These problems are very real and they aren't going away by ignoring them. You say Zarkus is part of the problem care to clarify or provide some sort of evidence. If anything Zarkus was one of the people who brought personality to this game. You lost respect in my eyes when you failed to make the distinction between what is true and what your own arrogance and impudence lead you to believe. I know I sure as hell ain't perfect but at least I treat my friends and colleagues better than trash. This games gameplay may be fine and well but what drew me and quite a few others to this game was the community. What good is this game if its full of people named Naruto Uzumaki91X or Light Yagami rulz. I hope you accept this as constructive criticism not purely statements meant to insult you (because they aren't). I am a civil person after all I did believe you to be as well at some point.

I figured you'd think I was implying that, I wasn't I meant as old players (Welcomed old players, trust me I've nothing against you guys.. except maybe blender boy >_>;) came back.. new.. retards came in.. D: Not that it was you guys' fault, I'd say something about what you said and how it was uncalled for (as if I said 'screw you, Nate' which obv. I didn't), but from what I said (worded badly) it seemed like I was trying to start a fight. But like I said, I wasn't~

Anyway, want proof, about Zarkus I mean? Try godmodding roles, spawning subscribers only items (not only once), avoiding bans, selling GM only items to make yen, lots and lots of stuff.. The GM logs are 95% of him-- he's gotten so many complaints, plus the chances I've given him.. I've even offerred rewards for simply NOT getting on my last nerve or get less complaints `bout him, and that still didn't work. Its kinda sad actually.. he used to be a nice guy, then he just didn't care :/ But that's besides the point.

Point is. The community sucks!

For once your right this community does stink. I know that Zarkus does things he shouldn't hell so did Sendo but that's what alot of us loved about him ( referring to Zarkus not sendo Lord knows some of the things Sendo does annoys the piss out of me.). His personality was something I always loved about this community. Truly the community is in a sorry state but we can change that with a little co-operation from everyone. Sendo and I tried to get a group DEVOTED to helping the newer players which was shot down ( I admit the group wasn't all that well thought out to begin with) But the Idea was still good. It's not to late to change things K.

Which is why I added new staff, to try to whip these guys into shape.. apparently that only encourages stupidity. I admit we have our good members; quite a few of them too. Then, the generic idiots. Sometimes I consider DNO should be a closed RP game but that'd be pushing it. I'm just sick of these retads-- and Sendo, oh don't bring him up.. I mean, people can have proper grammar but be idiots, or have shitty grammar and bad RP but still be a good community member for the most part.. its hard to distinguish them, though.

While fairly uncommon it is true that just because you got an A in English doesn't mean you have an I.Q. above 100 (average) or lack a perfect 10 on the douchebag'ometer. Yes Closed rp would definitely be too drastic a measure. Differentiation between the bad and the good is a truly difficult ordeal but it is like that in life. K you have to get to know people and they have to get to know you. Of course I don't mean major revelations or anything I just mean you have to sometimes be a bit more friendly. I know its part of your personality but being blunt and straightforward is rather off putting and you tend to miss out on meeting cool people. Being blunt isn't always the answer ( though I wish it were). I'm sure if we are more kind to those that have the potential to be good role players and are more willing to help we will be able to rebuild this community. I was fresh outta MH in Spring 08 I owe some of the older players for teaching me about this game and how to improve my role play. Hell I helped Kenji become the great rper that he's become ( most credit goes to him however because lets face it he had potential). If we make sure we take good care of the newer players (newbs) the Noobs will just leave and make sure they spread the message on Various Naruto games that DNO doesn't want them.

Also you and Sendo maybe had your bouts but there isn't a doubt in my mind about whether he cared about the community or not.(edit) Yes he was an idiot at times...well most o.k. all of the time (damn you and your roleplay of political figures)
All I was saying was he actually cared about the community and when he was serious he wasn't a bad guy. He stuck up for what he believed in and I respect him highly for that. ( I don't however respect how annoying he got at times but you take the good and the bad when it comes to friends)
