MY Style! D:

I'm getting tired of seeing Ryan and a couple other people with my mello style. >=\ Not calling them a noob but it gets annoying having people look exactly like you and them having the mello pic as well, now if they had the name too then I'd have to..Go cry in a corner till they feel sorry for me and give me my style back. ._.; But hopefully that won't happen the only person I'm fine with having Mello as a name is Zarkus, seeing as he pwns as Mello.

Consider the fact that Mello is a character from the series. Can you really expect anyone to avoid adopting that look/act simply because someone else got there first? I'm sure you've noticed the obscene amount of "Ryuzaki" rip-offs that will wander into a server and cause problems, especially when called "L". Similar if you are not playing as M, it would be sensible to not have your name with "Mello" or "M".
Consider creating a style that is unique. I'm also sure you've noticed players who will often stick with a single style because it suits them best? I myself always go for a black suit with red tie. My character can differ from a lawyer, a lost L successor and even a mental mafia psycho, but they always follow similar traits that I'm sure people can recognise. Yet another reason I hate when a certain user comes in with the name "Kai" but I suppose there's nothing to be done about it...that is until I got the 'rename player' verb.
As I was saying though~ since Mello is a canon style to the series one can only expect quite a few tributes.

mihaehl you cant just grab a character from the series/manga like there are alot of Ryuuzaki's so i took one u out so i could be Ryuzaki but some people do one u but my key is narutoskull but the point is you cant just take M and none else have it.

._.; Wow..I didn't understand any of that..Anyways, I understand that I took a character from the series and claimed his style as mine, and I didn't see anyone with his style when I started playing, which was when I RPed a different name and everything, so I took Mihael Keehl's identity, since no one else was using it and I like Mihael. And it seems like everyone began using the Mello look after I began RPing as Mihael Keehl, it's just a little odd and irritating, I can't do anything about it, which is why I made this post for people to atleast maybe not take the look as well. =\ I mean..They take the hair color and everything. Anyways that's all.

Well, it's a RPing game. You RP as a character. You just haven't been playing long enough to see people doing the exact role.

I've been playing for a pretty good amount of time, and I've seen no one use my style, when I first joined no one had that style either, and yes I've never seen anyone RP Mello while being Mello. :\

He isn't real, sooo I took it. :\ It's been claimed by me.

You can't claim a copywrited characters looks and personality, especially not on a publicly participated game.
Either stop complaining about other people using Mello as their character, or make up your own character. You have no rights over Mihael Keehl at all, and you will likely see dozens of other plays who will look and act exactly like him. You didn't get there first, Death Note did. That is why people are copying it. If I had the power, I'd close this thread right now.
