Welcome, if your under seventeen, or are a herbivore man, I suggest you refrain from reading this topic, or something.

Now that the formalities have been attended to, its time to discuss the game. I mean, you did think this was a topic for a video game, right?

Behold, 'Catherine', which holds claim to being both the newest game from the Persona Team, and ATLAS's first high definition game. A pleasant shift from the slew of Persona 3 remakes from the team in recent time, Catherine is a dubbed a horror based action adventure game. You play as Vincent, a thirty two year old "herbivore man," which is Japanese slang for some kind of semi-narcissistic hippy. Or a somewhat more specific definition for the term he's introduced with is a male who isn't interested in pursuing romantic relationships but still maintains a fashionable appearance.
From the trailer below, this seemingly changes for him when he meets Catherine, a twenty two year old woman described as "well proportioned."



Does it sound fun yet? Well theres more. It seems Vincent has been having nightmares, or a reoccurring nightmare. In which, he possesses ram's horns and is told by a tie wearing sheep that if he, and the many other lambs around him, don't climb a seemingly unending staircase, then they are going to die. For these nightmare segments, Vincent is strutting about in his pink polka dot boxers. Hopefully, the game will include alternate unlockable undergarments for him to wear.



The trailer here begins with Vincent asking someone if they've ever had a dream where they died. Their response is no, they haven't, but they have had a dream in which they've killed someone.
Soon afterwards, we're wittness to a news report about a young reclusive man found dead in his apartment, along with the mention of a rumor that if you die in a certain dream, you'll die in real life. Theres more here, but I'll just let you draw your conclusions from the mischievously placed credits.
