Digital Monster Simulator

Think Tamagotchi but with Digimon. You simply pick an egg, feed, train, and pretty much everything else to your pet. You watch it evolve, and more. Right now it's only the very basics- in the future there will be a shop, battling, mini-games, and more. Right now you can play from the Digimon being in the egg right up until it reaches Rookie level, at which point the game stops moving forward. If you find any bugs other than those listed already please do post and tell me!

Managed to find this bug out by accident, but..
Picked the Navy Egg. Got Botamon as normal. Fed it midway through it evolving to Rookie, and got an invisible Rookie. I'll see if it happens again, and update.

Yeah, Botamon was the one issue everyone found. I fixed it, it was a very simple bugfix.
I've been working on it and added in a random encounter system, and battling, and digivolution up until champion level, expect it to be downloadable soon.

how to i get it to work?

Download BYOND from here http://www.byond.com/download/ then download the zip file, unzip it, and launch the .dmb.

does it have to be in linux? i downloaded it in windows, but i also have installed ubuntu.

Its a lot easier to use in Windows, but if you want to use it in Linux you have to use Wine.

Similar bug to before, gauge filled up, Gomamon turned white, morphed into a different shape, then turned back into Gomamon.

Yeah, thanks for telling, I figured out it was a big bug that happened with all of em- but luckily I fixed it. Hopefully there aren't any bugs with the attacking system and if there are any general suggestions for the update feel free to tell me as I'd appreciate that. I expect a full game version to come out in the near future, but I'm not really sure...

i cant get it to work, there are two files in the folder, one with the .rsc extension and one with the .dmb, my question is, do i need an especific software to run it? im sorry for the inconvinience....

No, its totally fine! ^^ You need the BYOND software. The BYOND software is at byond.com/download, just get it from there- install it, then double click the .dmb file, and it should run properly.

hey sorrie for the problem but i followed the other steps on how to get this to work and it still isnt this is what i done
1st: i went to the website you poseted (http://www.byond.com/download/) and downloaded the ZIP firle
2nd: it opend itself with WINRAR and there were 3 diff files 1.help 2.cfg and 3.bin, after lookin at them i then refered bak to youtr posts wich said to click on the .dmb file dut i cant find tht file anywere if u can help it would be a great help thank you so much
